Sound designer / multimedia artist
Matríx 404
I work at the intersection of sound, space and visual language. Immersive environments, interactive installations and live performances that respond to bodies, places and presence.
Bio
Listening as a form of attention and resistance.
Matríx is an Iranian artist and sound designer whose work blurs the boundaries between sound, technology, and perception. With a background in classical music from Iran, she moved to Bologna to explore the world of electronic music, earning her degree from the G.B. Martini Conservatory, where she is now completing her Master's in sound design. She is co-founder of the collective Innesco.
Through her work, Matríx sculpts immersive architectures of sound, where imagination and perception dissolve into new sonic dimensions. She transforms sound into a visceral, multisensory force — radical, uncharted, and deeply transformative — crafting experiences that challenge reality and redefine the act of listening.
